The Dung Beetle Knight is a straightforward build when approached in four parts:
- dung ball
- legs, torso and base
- shoulders with pauldrons and arms
- antennae and head
Dung Beetle Knight Expansion Contents
1 knight sprue with 2 50mm bases, 2 armor sprues with 2 30mm bases, card pack, gear pack, divider pack, rule book
Warning: If you only have one 50mm base, use it for the Dung Beetle Knight, not the Dung Ball
As a heads up,
DaytonaJoe on reddit sent me a note that the DBK he got only had one 50mm base. He asked KD support and they informed that the Dung Ball is 50mm and is not intended to have a base. I'll double check and confirm, but the ball would be fine on its own!
dung ball is two halves with a base
assembled on base. note the offset - glue the bottom of the base, then look down and set on 50mm base

knight right and left legs, front and back torso, codpiece and breastplate
right and left legs, front and back torso on 50mm base
with codpiece and breastplate
upper components in assembly order:
- two part shoulders and pauldrons
- left arm with sword
- right arm with hand
- wings
- antennae and head
light glue, slip the interior into the outer shoulder
right and left arms with hand and sword
right and left wing are specific - glue the "outer" side and end of the wings
fold over a cut index card to force the wings out
test fit the shoulder assembly into the torso - note the cut marks on the upper torso edge for fit
I did NOT glue the shoulder assembly to the torso
close up of antennae. three of them have slot/tab points, the other 3 are glue and hold
